Core analysis features

These are the core tools most users rely on before approval or signature.

  • Plain-language summaries for faster first-pass review
  • Risk and obligation highlights with context
  • Clause explanation for confusing sections
  • Type-specific checks that adapt to the selected document type

Available document type profiles (current)

DecoDocs currently includes dedicated analysis profiles for these document types.

  • Contracts and legal: contract, employment contract, NDA, job offer, residential lease, commercial lease
  • Business and policy: invoice, purchase order, privacy policy, terms of service
  • General: letter, police letter/notice, presentation/pitch deck, marketing flyer, SOP/procedure
  • General (continued): resume/CV, notes/journal, schedule/timetable, book/long-form text

Plan behavior and limits

Your plan controls analysis capacity and advanced processing availability.

  • Anonymous and Free plans are budgeted for lighter usage
  • Pro/Business are intended for higher volume (subject to fair-use)
  • OCR for scanned documents is available on Pro-capable plans
  • See Plans for how budgets are measured and what to do when you hit a limit

When to change document type manually

Changing the type is useful when your document is uncommon or mislabeled.

  • Use manual type selection when results look generic or off-topic
  • Re-run analysis after changing type to apply the matching checklist
  • Keep the type that gives the clearest and most actionable findings

Output you can use immediately

The goal is decision support you can act on in the same session.

  • Priority risk list for quick triage
  • Key dates, amounts, and obligations for review
  • Plain-language notes for legal, ops, or management handoff
