Token
A unit used to estimate text size and AI work. Longer documents usually consume more tokens.
OCR
Optical Character Recognition. Converts scanned or image-only PDFs into text so analysis can work reliably.
Document type (profile)
A type-aware checklist used by DecoDocs to prioritize what to look for (e.g., invoice vs lease vs job offer).
Clause explanation
A focused, plain-language explanation of a selected section, intended to help you understand meaning and implications.
Risk highlight
A flagged item that may require attention (cost, obligation, deadline, restriction, or ambiguity). Always verify with the source document and human approval when needed.
Secure analysis request
An authenticated request to run analysis server-side. Access and limits are enforced based on your plan and the action being performed.
