Privacy-first architecture
We believe you should be able to analyze a document without leaving a permanent digital footprint. DecoDocs is designed around two distinct usage patterns: Open mode and Storage mode.
Open mode (Default)
Open mode is the default for all trial and anonymous reviews. In this mode, document text is extracted and processed ephemeral for AI analysis.
- Your original file is not kept in a permanent storage bucket
- Analysis results are only visible to you in your current session
- Closing the browser tab removes the local context
Pro Storage mode
Paid users can opt to save documents into their private vault. This enables cross-device document history and collaborative sharing.
- Documents are encrypted at rest using AES-256
- Documents are transmitted via HIPAA-compliant TLS 1.2+ tunnels
- Strict per-user access control lists (ACLs) ensure only you can view your files
AI and Data Privacy
We do not use your documents to train public AI models. For processing, we use secure enterprise-grade LLM endpoints that have strict data-use policies. Your document context is isolated to the specific analysis request and then flushed.
